Deputy Chief Chris Hirsch reported that officers were dispatched to the Gates apartment complex around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday following a domestic incident involving a firearm. The victim was able to safely leave the apartment, but authorities believed the suspect was still inside and refusing to exit.
