Two 19-year-old men have been arrested in connection with a kidnapping investigation in Augusta, Georgia, authorities said.
Suspects Taken Into Custody
According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, 19-year-old Nametrius McClam was arrested on May 21 by Richmond County deputies.
A second suspect, 19-year-old Demarion Simpson, was arrested on June 4 by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and members of the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Team.
Facing Kidnapping Charges
Investigators said both men were wanted in connection with a February kidnapping case.
Authorities also said the suspects face additional violent criminal charges, though further details have not been released.
