Mount Pleasant Waterworks announced contractors will work overnight Thursday to restore roadways in Mount Pleasant.
Roads Affected by Construction Work
Starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, crews will work in the following areas:
- Pelzer Drive between Coleman Boulevard and Cottingham Drive
- Coleman Boulevard at Pelzer Drive
- Coleman Boulevard at Shrimp Boat Lane
Drivers Should Expect Delays
Officials said lane closures and traffic control measures will be in place during the work.
Drivers should expect short traffic delays in the area overnight.
Work Expected to Finish Friday Morning
The project is scheduled to be completed by 7 a.m. Friday.
Crews will repaint centerlines dividing traffic lanes and add decorative crosswalk markings as part of roadway restoration following recent utility construction work.
