Summerville, S.C. – The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Summerville. Gage M. Ventry, a 27-year-old resident of Summerville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Incident Details
The fatal collision took place on Sigma Drive at approximately 3:37 p.m. on April 22. According to the coroner’s office, Ventry sustained fatal injuries in the crash. He was reportedly wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

Berkeley County EMS and Summerville Fire & Rescue responded promptly to the scene. The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office, along with the Summerville Police Department, is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
