According to the NCPD, two more arrests have been made following the incident at Wescott Plantation.

North Charleston, S.C. – Two additional suspects have been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred on April 14 in Wescott Plantation, officials announced Wednesday. The shooting, which did not result in any injuries, took place on Morrow Drive at around 10:30 p.m.

Details of the Incident

Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at a residence and a parked vehicle in the neighborhood. The suspects reportedly fled the scene before law enforcement arrived. One suspect had already been arrested in connection with the shooting prior to Wednesday’s arrests.

New Arrests and Charges

On Wednesday, David Taylor, 24, and Dwonenrion Washington, 21, were arrested by the NCPD Gang Intervention Team with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service. Both men have been charged with attempted murder, shooting into a dwelling, three counts of first-degree assault, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Both suspects were taken to a local detention center, where they await further legal proceedings.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to gather information related to the shooting.
