The annual Omar Shriners Parade is returning to Myrtle Beach this Memorial Day weekend, bringing holiday excitement to the Grand Strand.

Parade Details

The parade will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday and travel along Ocean Boulevard from Eighth Avenue North to 15th Avenue North. A staging area for participants opens at 8:30 a.m. on Seventh Avenue North between Chester and Flagg streets.

Street Closures

To prepare for the parade, the City of Myrtle Beach will close several streets. Roads are expected to reopen by noon. The closures include:

  • Seventh Avenue North at Chester Street
  • Seventh Avenue North at Flagg Street
  • Eighth Avenue North between Kings Highway and Ocean Boulevard
  • Ocean Boulevard from Eighth Avenue North to 15th Avenue North
