A traffic collision on Johnny Dodds Boulevard in Mount Pleasant caused significant lane closures on Thursday morning, according to local police.
Crash Causes Road Closures
Officers with the Mount Pleasant Police Department said the collision occurred at the intersection of Johnny Dodds Boulevard and Anna Knapp Boulevard.
As a result of the crash, all northbound lanes on Johnny Dodds Boulevard were blocked. In addition, one southbound lane and one westbound lane on Anna Knapp Boulevard were also closed.
Traffic Delays Expected
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while crews work at the scene. Authorities have not released details about injuries or the cause of the collision.
