Ye Ole Fashioned Ice Cream & Sandwich Cafe has opened a new location in Charleston, continuing its expansion across the Lowcountry.

The restaurant held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday afternoon for its newest store located at 830 Foundation Street off Clements Ferry Road.
Ye Ole Fashioned is known for its ice cream, milkshakes, burgers and diner-style food. The business already operates several locations in areas including Summerville, West Ashley, Mount Pleasant, North Charleston and Goose Creek.

Founder Rod Lapin thanked the Charleston community during the opening ceremony and said the business values its customers and the products it serves.
“Charleston loves Ye Ole Fashioned,” Lapin said. “It’s never about the money, it’s about the love and the products we’re able to serve.”
