The Cars for Camp Show raises money for Boy Scouts to attend camp.

This Saturday, the Cars for Camp Show at the new Scout Service Center in North Charleston will host a car show to raise money for sending Boy Scouts to camp. The event, held at 5935 Rivers Ave, will feature a variety of vehicle classes and offers exciting activities for both participants and spectators.

Vehicle Entries and Judging Categories

The car show will invite various vehicle classes to compete, with judging based on top vehicles in each class, as well as categories for best engine, paint, and interior. The event offers an opportunity for car enthusiasts to showcase their vehicles while supporting a good cause.

There is a $25 entry fee for each vehicle, with event sponsorships ranging from $100 to $1000 for a booth or car display.

Pinewood Derby and Family Fun

In addition to the car show, Pinewood Derby car owners will have the opportunity to race their cars on the track. Spectators are welcome to attend the event for free, making it a fun family outing.

Entertainment and Amenities

Guests can enjoy music provided by “DJ Lyn,” delicious food, and exciting door prizes throughout the event. The show will run from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., with vehicle check-in beginning at 11 a.m.
