Troopers received a neglect report on February 3, 2026, and executed a search warrant on February 4 at a property on County Road 426. They discovered deceased cats, rabbits, pigs, and goats, plus live animals in poor condition.
Animals Seized
Authorities removed 14 cats, 12 rabbits, and one sheep, with help from the Delta Animal Shelter. The animals were malnourished and unhealthy.
Arrest Details
Makosky resisted officers, bit one trooper, and tried to bite another before her arrest. She faces three felony charges for resisting, obstructing, and assaulting police.
