Xavier died on March 21, 2025, after nearly a month on life support following hospitalization on February 22, 2025, in cardiac arrest with extensive bruises and burn marks from systematic torture at Mills’ Tavares home. Police found evidence like duct tape, a ladder, copper wire, and a 10-pound weight used to drop on his stomach, confirming prolonged abuse by Mills and her boyfriend, Andre Dwayne Walker.​
Plea Agreement
As part of the deal, Mills agreed to testify against Walker, 37, who faces trial later in 2026 on identical charges and remains in custody without bond since their April 2025 indictment.
