Severe flooding has forced multiple road closures across Laurens County, South Carolina, as heavy rain continues to impact the area.
Flash Flood Warning Issued
The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Laurens County that remains in effect until 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Laurens County Emergency Management said several roads are now closed or considered impassable due to flooding.

- East Main Street at Mills Street
- Mills Street at Gordon Street
- Jones Street at Caroline Street
- Fleming Street at Oak Street
- East Main Street near Starbucks
- East Main Street at the Little River
Laurens County
- Fleming Mill Road at Snake Trail
City of Clinton
- Washington Street
- South Livingston Street
- Elm Street
Officials Warn Drivers
Emergency officials are urging residents:
- Do not drive around barricades
- Avoid flooded roadways
- Use caution during heavy rain
Authorities warned that floodwaters can quickly become dangerous, especially at night when roads are harder to see.
