Woman Arrested in Aiken County Shooting Case
Authorities said 44-year-old Jennifer Blanchard was arrested Monday following the May 17 shooting on Montmorenci Road near West Road.
Deputies responded around 4:05 p.m. after receiving reports of a disturbance and found what officials described as an active fight at the scene.
Motorcyclist Shot During Confrontation
According to investigators, the victim told deputies he was:
- Pulled off his motorcycle
- Hit multiple times
- Shot during the altercation
The victim was found sitting in a ditch suffering from back pain before deputies discovered a gunshot wound.
