A domestic disagreement leads to a narcotics arrest in Anderson County

An Anderson County man has been arrested on drug trafficking charges after deputies reportedly found cocaine and multiple firearms inside a vehicle during a domestic disturbance investigation.

Drug Arrest in Anderson County

According to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call on Cheyenne Street in Anderson involving a man and a woman.

While investigating the incident, authorities executed a search warrant at the property.

Cocaine Found Inside Vehicle

Deputies said they discovered about 124 grams of cocaine inside a Honda Accord parked at the scene.

Investigators reported the drugs were hidden inside a Crown Royal bottle near the passenger seat.

Firearms Also Recovered

Authorities also found several firearms inside the vehicle during the search.

The discovery led to the arrest of 32-year-old Roderick Jackson.

Suspect Held in Detention Center

Jackson is currently being held at the Anderson County Detention Center.

Officials have not released additional details about possible further charges.
