Also established in 2022, the LENS Foundation supports the Isle of Palms Police Department by funding advanced officer training, organizing outreach initiatives, and building meaningful relationships between law enforcement and the community. Through youth engagement, adult education, and public events, LENS plays a vital role in promoting safety and trust across the island.

As part of the partnership, each organization will hold an Ex Officio seat on the other’s Board of Directors, ensuring seamless communication and strategic alignment. Additional collaborative initiatives include:
- Joint sponsorships and community programs
- Shared event calendars and website resources
- Cross-promotion on social media platforms
- Coordinated messaging to highlight safety and business-friendly initiatives
Ted Kinghorn of LENS summed up the alliance: “Together, we can do more—for our businesses, our residents, our officers, and our visitors. This is about creating a legacy of cooperation and compassion on the Isle of Palms.”
