An Upstate South Carolina woman has been arrested on drug trafficking charges after deputies discovered methamphetamine during a traffic stop in Anderson County.
Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest
According to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy noticed a vehicle illegally parked in a handicap space without a valid permit. The officer then approached the driver and conducted a routine check.
The driver was identified as 45-year-old Aleisha Arflin.
Drugs Found During Vehicle Search
Deputies said Arflin gave consent for a search of the vehicle. During the search, officers allegedly found about two ounces of methamphetamine inside.
Following the discovery, Arflin was arrested on drug trafficking charges.
Booking and Charges
Authorities said Arflin was taken to the Anderson County Jail and booked on a $50,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
