Authorities in Texas have charged a 27-year-old man with capital murder after three family members were found dead inside a home near Austin.
Three Family Members Found Dead
The Travis County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a welfare check Thursday morning at a home in Pflugerville after a relative reported that a family member had not shown up for work.
Inside the home, officers found a man and woman in their 60s and a man in his 30s dead from gunshot wounds.
Suspect Arrested
Investigators later identified the suspect as Joshua Dahan. Authorities said he was arrested after deputies located his vehicle later that morning.
Police believe the victims were his father, 62-year-old Armand Dahan, his mother, 63-year-old Jami Dahan, and his 31-year-old brother, Noah Dahan.
Investigation Ongoing
Neighbors described the area as quiet and peaceful, saying the incident shocked the community.
Authorities said the case appears to be an isolated incident. The investigation remains active.
