Chandler Walden, 29, faces eight felony charges including two counts of attempted murder after allegedly attacking his sister and her friend with a hatchet and steak knife at a Londonderry, New Hampshire home on March 15, 2026. Police responded to the 100 block of Chase Road around 8:50 p.m. for a stabbing, finding the victims outside with multiple wounds; Walden was arrested peacefully inside.

Attack Details

Walden reportedly yelled about ending “years of abuse” after an earlier argument, striking the women on their heads and torsos. One victim intervened during the assault on his sister; detectives recovered the bloodied weapons from a bedroom trash can, noting blood on Walden’s hands and neck.

Victim Status

Both women were hospitalized in serious condition with stab wounds and lacerations. They were known to Walden, with one being his sister.

Walden is held without bond at Rockingham County House of Corrections, with a probable cause hearing set for March 25. Londonderry Police processed the scene due to the attack’s severity.
