Road dedications will be discussed by SCDOT

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) Commission will convene on Thursday to discuss several important resolutions, including the dedication of roads and intersections to notable individuals.

Dedicating Roads and Intersections to Community Leaders

One of the resolutions on the agenda is the dedication of a road in Colleton County to Willie L. Brown Jr., honoring his contributions to the community. Additionally, an intersection in Colleton County may be dedicated to Emma Mackenzie Lake, further recognizing her impact.

The commission will also discuss dedicating an intersection in Charleston County to Gabriel Seagraves, in tribute to his achievements and service.

Meeting Details

The meeting will take place at the SCDOT headquarters in Columbia at 9:00 a.m. Thursday. Public participation and feedback are welcomed as the commission moves forward with these resolutions.
