Two people were injured after a gas station explosion in Columbia, South Carolina, caused by a road rage incident, authorities say.
The Incident
The crash occurred Sunday afternoon at a station on Hard Scrabble Road when a woman, allegedly fleeing another driver, lost control of her vehicle and struck gas pumps. The collision caused two nearby vehicles to catch fire.
Injuries and Response
Two people pumping gas were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Deputies confirmed there were no fatalities. Investigators have identified everyone involved and are examining the circumstances leading to the confrontation.
