Two men are behind bars in Chesterfield County after allegedly stealing several high-value dirt bikes and other property from a local motocross facility.

Details of the Theft

The theft occurred early Sunday morning at ClubMX, a motocross shop located off Croft Jones Road. According to Chesterfield County deputies, the suspects, James Hicks and Raymond Watkins Jr., are accused of stealing nearly $70,000 worth of property. This included:

  • Three Husqvarna dirt bikes
  • One Kawasaki dirt bike
  • A trailer

During the investigation, authorities also recovered a stolen pickup truck that had been taken from Pickens County.

Charges Filed

Both Hicks and Watkins are facing serious charges:

  • Five counts of grand larceny
  • One count of possession of a stolen vehicle

Ongoing Investigation

Deputies have stated that they expect more arrests to be made in connection with the theft. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the crime to come forward and help with the investigation.
