Details of the Earthquakes

The United States Geological Survey reported that the first earthquake had a magnitude of 2.3 and occurred around 5:18 a.m. It struck about 11 miles from Winnsboro at a depth of 3.4 miles.

A second, smaller earthquake followed at 6:44 a.m. with a magnitude of 1.6. This one was located about 11 miles south of Gayle Mill and had a depth of 1.1 miles.
