The victim, leaving a prom send-off party in Columbia Heights with her 5-year-old child, accidentally made contact with a parked vehicle. Cordaryle Frost and his wife, Cynthia Victoria Frost, 37, reportedly pursued the woman, forcing her to pull over before allegedly firing a gun.

Injuries and Medical Response

The mother suffered a neck gunshot wound, causing temporary loss of vehicle control. She was taken to surgery to remove bullet fragments and sustained a spinal cord injury; the full extent of her injuries has not been disclosed.

Arrests and Charges

Both Frosts were arrested on Monday. Cordaryle Frost faces charges including first-degree assault causing great bodily harm and drive-by shooting with dangerous weapons, with bail set at $2 million. Cynthia Frost was charged similarly but released on Wednesday.
