Police in Kentucky are searching for three people wanted in connection with a shooting in Newport that left a man hospitalized.

The Shooting

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on May 9 near 10th and Monmouth streets. Responding officers found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as 25-year-old Trey Iles, was taken to the University of Cincinnati Hospital and is in stable condition. Iles told Facebook he was shot 15 times and is on a long road to recovery.

Suspects and Charges

Authorities have identified three suspects linked to the shooting: 30-year-old Tiance Combs, 26-year-old Terry Moses, and 30-year-old Kortney Alford. They face charges including attempted murder, complicity in attempted murder, and facilitation of attempted murder.

Police warned the trio should be considered armed and dangerous and released photos of each.

Incident Details

Family members said Iles had dropped off his girlfriend at a convenience store and was later approached by someone he recognized. An argument ensued, and a car pulled up, opening fire. Multiple family members were injured, including shots to his ankles, arm, and throat.

Police are continuing their investigation and asking anyone with information to contact the Newport Police Department.
