A man from Georgetown County was sentenced for trafficking fentanyl

Antwaun Gallant, 27, was sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to drug charges in Georgetown County, South Carolina.

Guilty Plea and Charges

Gallant pleaded guilty to trafficking four to 14 grams of fentanyl, according to Assistant Solicitor Angela Lane.

Arrest and Sentencing

He was arrested on July 31, 2024, by deputies with the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office.

Circuit Court Judge Alex Hyman sentenced Gallant to 10 years in prison for the offense.
