A Conway woman, Jamiah Franklin, has pleaded guilty to her role in an armed home invasion in Horry County, South Carolina.

Franklin pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary. On Wednesday, a judge sentenced her to 10 years in prison, suspended to five years’ probation. She avoided serving time in prison.

The incident occurred on February 14, 2025, on Fairway Lane in Conway. Alegandro Diaz, armed with a pistol, led three co-defendants into the home while the homeowner was at work. The homeowner’s teenage son was tied up, threatened, and assaulted while the home was ransacked. Items stolen included jewelry, clothing, firearms, and valuables.

Franklin’s role included moving surveillance cameras and stealing items while the teen was held at gunpoint.
