A 32-year-old man in North Charleston, South Carolina, has turned himself in to police after outstanding warrants were issued for his alleged threats against family members.
Charges and arrest details
Denzel Terrel Wright faces charges of cruelty to children and unlawful communication following multiple reports of intimidation and threatening behavior. On April 3, a woman reported that Wright had been repeatedly visiting her home, banging on the door, and demanding to see his son, who already had an open case with the Department of Social Services (DSS).
Threatening messages
In addition to his visits, Wright allegedly left threatening messages for family members, including one that said, āIām going to kill all of them.ā The woman, advised by DSS to file a police report, led to the issuance of warrants for Wright’s arrest.
Wright surrenders to authorities
Wright later surrendered to North Charleston police and was booked into custody. Authorities are continuing to investigate the case.
