HORRY COUNTY, S.C. — Sammy Lee Brown, 26, was arrested by the Horry County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) after authorities said he attempted to flee and resist arrest. Brown had an active warrant for second-degree domestic violence.
Incident Details
Deputies went to Brown’s residence on Burcale Road to arrest him. When Brown refused to comply with commands, authorities breached the home. Brown then attempted to run and fight with deputies before being apprehended.
Charges and Arrest
Brown was served with the outstanding domestic violence warrant and additionally charged with resisting arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
