A man wanted on multiple drug trafficking charges has been apprehended in Gastonia, North Carolina, following a coordinated effort by local and federal authorities.

Arrest of Ricardo Mitchell

Ricardo Mitchell, a 42-year-old man from Kings Mountain, was arrested on Wednesday in Gastonia. He had been wanted for 10 counts of drug trafficking, including:

  • Eight counts of trafficking cocaine
  • Two counts of trafficking methamphetamine

The arrest was carried out by the Gastonia Police Department in collaboration with the U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Charges and Bond Details

Mitchell is now being held in the Gaston County Jail on a $1 million bond. His arrest marks an important step in addressing drug trafficking in the area.
