This donation by the Holmes family safeguards three acres of forested wetlands draining into Bohicket Creek, boosting water quality and ecosystem health.

The tract preserves rural character, reinforces Charleston County’s Urban Growth Boundary to curb sprawl, and reduces congestion while enhancing environmental resilience. Three landowners have now collaborated with the nonprofit on this growing greenbelt.
