A Shrek-inspired burlesque show and dance party titled “Get Out Me Swamp” is set to take place Thursday night at the Music Farm. Event organizers say the show will offer a playful, body-positive performance experience featuring characters inspired by the popular animated film franchise.
Performances and Entertainment Planned
Officials say attendees can expect five unique burlesque acts portraying characters such as ogres, donkeys and dragons. The event will be hosted by local drag performer Medusa Chaos, with DJ ALX providing music throughout the evening.
Costumes and Themed Activities Encouraged
In addition to live performances, organizers say the event will include a dance floor, themed decorations and photo booths. Guests are encouraged to dress in costume and take part in the Shrek-themed festivities.
