A 65-year-old Fort Mill man, Gregory L. Tischuk, was indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly making a straw purchase of a firearm from a large retailer. He is accused of lying on ATF Form 4473 by claiming the gun was for himself when it was intended for someone else, violating federal firearms laws.
Potential Penalties
Tischuk faces up to 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, up to three years of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment if convicted. He has been released on bond pending further proceedings.
Investigation Details
The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), with Assistant U.S. Attorney William K.
