Sincere Di’Quize Hickman, 23, was arrested in Pennsylvania and extradited to Florence County, South Carolina, following the December 1, 2025, shooting death of 19-year-old pregnant woman Zynaija Thomas from Bishopville.
Incident Details
The shooting occurred on Roberts Street in Florence, where video evidence showed interactions between Hickman’s silver Honda Accord and a white Honda Accord on Clement Street beforehand. Hickman and unnamed co-defendants were involved in transferring baby items before the white Accord proceeded to the shooting site.
Charges and Status
Hickman faces charges of murder, attempted murder, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He turned himself in to Pennsylvania authorities late December 2025 after an extradition hearing and was booked into Florence County Detention Center on Saturday. Police had previously labeled him armed and dangerous.
