Dillon County, South Carolina, authorities are searching for 50-year-old Richard Thomas Sweat from the Oak Grove community, last heard from around 5:30 p.m. Saturday. His family, including mother Jeannie Sweat, reports he would never go this long without contact, fueling serious concerns amid the ongoing cold weather.
Search Efforts
Deputies located Sweat’s car on Famie Field Road and have searched Wildlife Road, but no trace of him has been found as of Monday evening. Sheriff Jamie Hamilton urges the public to assist in the effort.
