Kadeem McFadden, a 25-year-old Lake City resident, is now wanted for two murders in South Carolina after authorities linked him to a Christmas Eve 2025 shooting. He’s accused of fatally shooting Kobe Godfrey multiple times on Bozy Road in Scranton, per the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.​

McFadden faces earlier Timmonsville charges from an August shooting death of Calvin Sowells, including murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and committing violence while on bond from a July 2025 dog-fighting arrest.
