The event occurred around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday near York Comprehensive High School. Bean allegedly maneuvered his vehicle aggressively, leading to a verbal altercation, then retrieved a handgun and fired at the teenager.​
Charges and Arrest
Bean faces charges including attempted murder, pointing and presenting a firearm, and malicious injury to property. He is held on a $125,000 bond after his arrest on Wednesday.​
Teenager’s Role
The 18-year-old returned fire in self-defense, striking Bean, then called 911 and stayed at the scene. Police detained him briefly but released him after determining his actions were justified through investigation and cooperation.​
