Early voting for Spartanburg County's District 12 special election has begun

Early voting for the South Carolina State Senate District 12 Special Election began on December 8, 2025, at the Spartanburg County Administration Building (366 N Church Street, Suite 1630, Spartanburg, SC 29303), open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until December 19. The special election on December 23, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., follows Republican Lee Bright’s primary win, with no Democratic opponent listed on the ballot and a write-in option available.​

  • Spartanburg County voters: 366 N Church Street, Suite 1630, Spartanburg, SC 29303.​
  • Greenville County voters (District 12 portions): McAlister Square (back entrance), 225 S. Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville, SC 29607.​

Precinct-specific polling places for December 23 in Spartanburg and Greenville counties are listed on the Spartanburg County Board of Voter Registration and Elections site and SCVotes.gov; voters should check their registration card or scvotes.gov for exact locations based on address.
