Low Country, South Carolina — This week, Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach will perform their annual Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaways, feeding 200 families in need in the Johns Island and Charleston communities.
On November 19 and 20, Our Lady of Mercy will give back to the community in honor of the giving season. The organizers plan to hold two complete events with food, games, and community activities for people of all ages.
Individuals interested in receiving a free Thanksgiving lunch can attend the event at 1684 Brownswood Road on Johns Island on November 19 or Neighborhood House at 77 America Street in Charleston on November 20.
Comcast provided a $15,000 sponsorship, making these events possible.
