Park Circle Cares provides free food delivery at North Charleston High School on Saturday

North Charleston, South Carolina. Park Circle Cares will provide produce and other items to the local community this weekend, assisting individuals experiencing food insecurity in North Charleston.

Food will be delivered for free on November 15 beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the North Charleston High School’s west side parking lot. Visitors are asked to enter through the Hyde Avenue entrance.

Guests are allowed to have as much produce as they want during the given time, so it is recommended that anyone taking advantage of this opportunity bring their own carts, bags, or boxes to transport food. Meat will be available to the first 50 families.

This meal distribution event is expected to be busy, so guests should arrive early. Volunteers from Park Circle Cares may begin the line before 8:30 a.m., but the final decision will not be made until the morning of the event.

This effort is only one of Park Circle Cares’ monthly activities aimed at addressing the problems that North Charleston people confront.

“We service people of all ages and walks of life.” CEO Orly Janssen says. “Our mission remains the same, to distribute nutritious food, and treat people with dignity and respect.”
