Ladson, South Carolina – It is here! The Coastal Carolina Fair has returned to the Lowcountry, bringing over 80 rides, live music, a petting zoo, and, of course, tasty fair food.

The gates for the 2025 Coastal Carolina Fair open at 3 p.m. on Thursday, and fairgoers can enjoy everything the event has to offer until Sunday, November 9.

Here are some fair meals and drinks to try if you attend the fair at Exchange Park in Ladson.

latest to the agricultural building, you’ll find your latest obsession: Dubai chocolate waffles.

The waffles are made like a popsicle with a stick in the center, then covered with powdered sugar, heated chocolate, pistachio cream combined with crunchy kataifi, and fresh strawberry slices on top.

Biting into the waffle combines the richness of the chocolate and cream with crunch and refreshing bursts of the lighter strawberries.

Ye Ole Fashioned is a local ice cream parlor with locations throughout the Lowcountry, and tourists can experience one of its most popular flavors, the pig’s trough double banana split.

The base is composed of luscious strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two bananas. Topped with pineapples, cherries, sprinkles, and six dollops of whipped cream.

After interacting with the animals at the petting zoo, stop by the Ye Ole Fashioned booth next door for the famed double split.

After grabbing your double banana split, head over to Moose Joose Slush Works for something to wash it down.

If you prefer something different, Moose Joose also serves an electric lemonade in a cone cup. Thirsty customers can drink frozen blue and yellow lemonade for a zesty refreshment. This lemonade slush is garnished with whipped cream, sour gummy bears, Pop Rocks, and Lemonheads.
