Storm Team 3: Clouds and chilly weather continue today, with a warmup tomorrow

Savannah, Georgia – We’re expecting another cool, breezy, and largely cloudy day across the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry, with a few scattered showers likely owing to a lingering coastal low. Today’s highs will be in the upper 60s to low 70s, with a strong northwest breeze making it seem even cooler.

As the coastal low moves north tomorrow, we’ll have more sunlight and a gradual warmup. Expect a mix of sun and clouds to begin the week, with highs returning to the low 80s.

The quiet weather continues to build for the work week. By mid to late week, high pressure has settled in, bringing lots of sunlight and dry conditions. High temperatures will remain moderate, ranging from the upper 70s to the low 80s, which is about usual for this time of year.

In the tropics, we are monitoring a disturbance in the eastern Atlantic. It has a modest likelihood of developing within the next week. However, forecast models show it curving out to sea and posing no threat to the United States at this moment.
