Summerville, South Carolina — Publix Super Markets is planning a grand opening for its Summerville store.
The 48,387-square-foot grocery, located at 2700 N. Main St. in The Market Place at Carnes Crossroads, will open at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, October 15.
Publix says the shop will employ approximately 140 people.
As of October 2025, Publix has 1,464 stores in the Southeastern United States, including 75 in South Carolina.
