Dorchester County, South Carolina – The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office arrested an elderly man on criminal sexual conduct charges.
Russell Joseph Dispenza, 81, faces two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
According to Sheriff spokesman Steven Wright, detectives from the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division allege that Dispenaza sexually abused the victim for more than a year.
If a child has been left alone with Dispenza, deputies urge them to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at 843-832-0300.
He was booked at the L.C. Knight Detention Center and is still in custody.
