Memorial services will be held this weekend for Don Keller, the Greenwood police officer who died in the line of duty earlier this week.
Celebration of Life Scheduled Sunday
A celebration of life service for Keller will take place Sunday at 2 p.m. at Finis Horne Arena.
Keller was remembered as a husband, father, Army veteran, and active member of the South Carolina National Guard.
Community Events Planned in Greenwood
Community members are also expected to gather for two additional memorial events in Greenwood:
- A community prayer event Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Emerald Gardens Assisted Living
- A candlelight vigil Friday at 6 p.m. at A Quaint Little Place
Officer Killed During Pursuit
Authorities said Keller died Monday after a collision during a high-speed chase involving a teenage driver.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
