Authorities have located and arrested a man who was wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery and battery investigation in Augusta.
Suspect Taken Into Custody
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on June 1 that Keon Levertt has been located and taken into custody.
Investigation Details
Levertt was previously wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery by force and battery reported on May 30 at C&M Curb Market, also known locally as the Grey Store, on East Boundary Street in Augusta.
Investigators had been seeking information about his whereabouts after identifying him as a person of interest in the case.
Earlier Search
Before his arrest, authorities said Levertt was last seen leaving the area in a small silver SUV with an unknown license plate.
The sheriff’s office had asked the public to contact investigators with any information that could help locate him.
