A shocking shooting incident in Homestead has left two women injured after a confrontation outside a restaurant turned violent.
What Happened
According to police, the incident took place on April 17 outside Dr. Limon.
Authorities say Samantha Morales, 34, pulled up in a car and approached three women who were standing outside.
What began as a brief exchange quickly escalated:
- Morales allegedly spoke to the group from her car
- A verbal argument followed
- She then reportedly got out and confronted them
Shots Fired
Police say the situation turned violent when:
- Morales allegedly fired two shots
- Two of the women were hit
- A physical struggle followed as one woman tried to stop her
The altercation ended when officers arrived and separated those involved.
Victims’ Condition
Authorities confirmed that:
- Two women were injured by gunfire
- Both are currently in stable condition
Suspect’s Statement
After being taken into custody, Morales reportedly told police:
- She did not clearly remember the incident
- She believed she was “fighting for her life”
- She admitted to consuming alcohol before the घटना

Morales is facing multiple serious charges, including:
- Two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon
- Three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm
- Use of a firearm
- Additional misdemeanour charges
She is currently being held without bond at a correctional facility.
