A former television actor has been sentenced to 32 years to life in prison for the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend, Hollywood makeup artist Allie Shehorn.

Former Actor Sentenced

Nick Pasqual, who appeared in a single episode of the TV show How I Met Your Mother, was sentenced on June 2 after being convicted of attempted murder, residential burglary and domestic violence-related charges.

Prosecutors said Pasqual broke into Shehorn’s Los Angeles home in May 2024 and attacked her.

Victim Survived Severe Injuries

According to court testimony, Shehorn suffered more than 20 stab wounds and was found lying in a pool of blood.

During the trial, she appeared in court with visible scars and described a history of domestic violence that led to the end of their relationship.

She testified that before the stabbing, Pasqual had previously forced his way through a locked door during an argument.

Prior Restraining Order

Court records showed that Shehorn had obtained a restraining order against Pasqual before the attack, citing domestic violence concerns.

Pasqual had also been arrested in an earlier incident and was released on bail just days before the stabbing occurred.

Sentence Handed Down

Following his conviction, Pasqual was sentenced to 32 years to life in prison.

Shehorn is a makeup artist known for her work on films including Mean Girls, Rebel Moon and Babylon.
