It took me 2 to 3 days to get the scent out': Man whose body was placed in a suitcase and dumped in an alley was likely slain at his house, police believe.

Police in Philadelphia are investigating after a man’s body was found in a suitcase along an alleyway.

Discovery of the Body
On Friday around 9:25 a.m., officers found a gray suitcase in an alley behind a home on the 600 block of East Hilton Street. Inside was the upper torso of 53-year-old Vincent Good.

Additional Remains
Investigators later found more human remains in two large trash bags. The Philadelphia Office of the Medical Examiner ruled Good’s death a homicide caused by multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigation Details
Police spoke with neighbors, who reported a strong odor at Good’s home on the 5700 block of Leonard Street, about three miles from where the suitcase was found. Authorities believe this may be where Good was killed.

Current Status
No arrests have been made, and no motive has been established. Investigators continue to gather evidence and speak with witnesses in the area.
