An Ohio woman was fatally stabbed while working at a Skyline Chili restaurant, and police say her ex-boyfriend has been charged in the attack.

Waitress Killed During Shift

Alyssa Hill, 27, was working as a waitress at a Skyline Chili restaurant in Norwood, Ohio, on Tuesday when she was allegedly attacked by 37-year-old Rick Wright.

According to witnesses, Wright entered the restaurant and stabbed Hill in front of customers and staff. She was taken to a hospital but later died from her injuries.

Ex-Boyfriend Arrested

Police identified Wright as Hill’s former boyfriend. Witnesses told 911 dispatchers that the suspect fled the scene after the attack but was later taken into custody.

Authorities said Wright was on probation at the time of the incident.

Friends Describe Troubled Relationship

Friends said Hill and Wright dated for only a few months before she ended the relationship due to concerns about his behavior. They said the pair had been separated for years and had not been in contact for a long time.

Hill’s friends described her as a caring mother of two who was loved by those who knew her.

Suspect Held Without Bail

During a court appearance, prosecutors cited Wright’s criminal history and described him as a danger to the community.

He has been ordered held without bail as the case moves forward.
