A Florida man, Bradly Shawn Sadduck, 56, has been charged with second-degree murder after allegedly killing his wife, Lynne Alane Shadduck, 62, in their Monroe County home.
911 Called by Husband
On Thursday, May 28, Bradly went to a neighbor’s house just before 6 a.m., covered with a Cleveland Browns blanket and no clothes, claiming their house was “full of blood.” He asked the neighbor to call 911.
Home Found in Disarray
Deputies arriving at the scene found the house in chaos, with broken items and blood smears throughout the floor. A large pool of blood was in the living room, and Lynne was found naked and unconscious in a hallway, with injuries to her back, head, and hands.
Husband’s Statements
Bradly allegedly told deputies that “things just happened” and repeatedly said his wife needed help. He later claimed the home’s disarray was from “rough sex” and said he doesn’t remember events when he drinks. Video footage showed him visiting neighbors’ homes and banging on doors before the 911 call.
Victim Pronounced Dead
Medics rushed Lynne to Lower Keys Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead later that morning. The scene suggested a significant struggle, with blood throughout the residence and a smear in the hallway indicating she may have been dragged.
Current Status
Bradly is being held in the Monroe County Key West jail. Sheriff Rick Ramsay said there is “no threat to the public” while the investigation continues.
